Child Wellbeing Specialist

We are looking for a skilled Child Wellbeing Specialist to join our team at Croydon Council. In this role, you will work closely with families and children to ensure their safety and wellbeing. As a key member of our safeguarding team, you will lead and manage the performance of a team to drive service improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the performance of a team to drive service improvement.
- Direct work with children and families to achieve desired safety and well-being outcomes.
- Manage the team's duty system and day-to-day operational duties of social workers in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children in accordance with our statutory duties.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve social work practice and promote best outcomes for children and families.
What We Offer:
- Salary £58,692 - £60,819 (Grade 16).
- Annual leave 29-31 days.
