About Our Team
CROYDON COUNCIL-2 is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults. We are seeking a skilled Social Worker to join our Social Work with Families team in Croydon.
The successful candidate will have a salary range of £45,510-53,607 (Grade 11-14), plus a £10k Welcome Payment. They will also receive a highly competitive compensation package, including a pension scheme with an average employer contribution of 20%.
Job Description
This is an opportunity to grow your skills and be part of a supportive community that will develop your career. You will work directly with children, young people, and their families, evidencing multi-agency partnerships and a robust understanding of thresholds of need.
You will also represent children in court, demonstrating empathy and maintaining professionalism. A manageable caseload and support from a small established team will be provided.
Requirements
- A qualified social worker, Social Work England Registered, and completion of ASYE.
- Competence in representing children in court and working directly with families.
