About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Photographer to join our team at Next. As a key member of our Photo Studio, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality visual content that reflects our brand's creative vision and direction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide creative guidance and support to the studio team, ensuring that all visual content meets the highest standards of quality and consistency.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of current trends and lighting techniques, staying ahead of the curve to ensure that our visual content remains innovative and engaging.
  • Collaborate with other Senior Photographers to ensure that all photographic sets meet the required level of quality and output.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members, ensuring that they are motivated and supported to deliver their best work.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our brand's creative direction and vision, ensuring that all visual content aligns with our values and goals.

About You

  • You will have a proven track record of experience in photography, with a strong understanding of lighting, retouching, and visual storytelling techniques.
  • You will be an expert in using Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Capture One.
  • You will have experience working with a range of lighting kits, including Profoto and continuous lighting.
  • You will be confident in directing models on set and have a strong understanding of video production.
  • You will be a strong leader, able to manage, inspire, and develop a team of photographers and retouchers.
  • You will have a thorough understanding of current trends and lighting techniques, with a forward-thinking and innovative approach to all projects.
  • You will possess superior planning, workload management, and organizational capabilities, with highly developed interpersonal, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
  • You will be a creative thinker, able to produce innovative ideas and solutions that meet the needs of our brand.
  • You will be a strong communicator and listener, able to build and maintain strong relationships with your team and stakeholders.
  • You will be commercially minded, with a strong understanding of retail fashion and lifestyle trends.
  • You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment, with a high level of adaptability and flexibility.
  • You will have at least 5 years of relevant experience in photography, with a strong portfolio or website that showcases your work.
  • You will have a full UK driving license.
