About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Midwife to join our team at the Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to women and their families in a variety of community settings.

As a Midwife, you will be working autonomously within guidelines and Sphere of Professional Practice, assessing the full range of care needs and developing, implementing, and evaluating programmes of care throughout the ante-natal, intra-partum, and post-natal period.

You will work collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to ensure women and their families' needs are met, particularly in relation to ongoing health/social requirements and discharge arrangements. You will also be responsible for collecting, collating, and reporting information, ensuring accurate records are maintained.

The ideal candidate will have a Registered Midwife qualification, degree or relevant experience, and be willing to develop speciality knowledge if applicable to the post. They will also be able to maintain accurate records within the diversity of midwifery, present factual information, and deal with questions from women and their families.
