Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Midwife to join our Community Midwifery Team at the Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality care to women and their families in the community, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.

Main Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of women's health needs and develop personalized care plans.
  • Provide antenatal and postnatal care to women in the community, including home births and hospital births.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure women receive safe, kind, and effective care.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with women and their families, providing emotional support and guidance throughout their care journey.
  • Collect, collate, and report information, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
  • Recognize and respond appropriately to urgent and emergency situations.

Requirements

  • Registered Midwife qualification.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with women and their families.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
  • Basic knowledge of Professional & NHS issues.
