Job Description

Job Title: IT Support Specialist

ESP Utilities Group Ltd is seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team. As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and providing technical support to our staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day technical support to ESP Utilities Group Ltd staff, including troubleshooting and resolving IT-related issues.
  • Install, configure, and license software, as well as set up new hardware and network equipment.
  • Perform network patching and maintenance tasks to ensure the security and integrity of our IT systems.
  • Determine requirements for new users and complete the full new user setup, including user induction.
  • Closing down leaver accounts and ensuring a seamless transition for departing employees.
  • Provide technical support to ESP Utilities Group Ltd staff in the use of their computers, mobile devices, and installed software.
  • Log and respond to IT support requests from ESP Utilities Group Ltd staff in a timely and professional manner.
  • Raise issues with third-party service providers, such as managed firewall services, software developers, and cloud services.
  • Maintain departmental documentation and ensure that all IT-related documentation is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Assist with keeping the SharePoint-based intranet up-to-date and ensure that all staff have access to the necessary information and resources.

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with a Microsoft domain environment and experience supporting users with Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 365, including MS Teams.
  • Experience with managing Microsoft 365 environments and supporting mobile devices on Intune MDM.
  • Understanding and experience of Windows Active Directory, including adding users to groups and assigning permissions.
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 and Microsoft PowerPlatform is desirable.
  • Knowledge of ISO 27001 Information Security standard is also desirable.
