About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate SEN Support Worker to join our team at SNAP Care. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting a bright and engaging 10-year-old young person with a physical disability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the young person with all self-help skills, promoting independence and autonomy
  • Assist with school pick-ups and drop-offs, as well as light household duties and meal preparation
  • Develop and implement creative and holistic approaches to enhance the young person's developmental skills
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to the young person, as well as their family members
  • Work collaboratively with the family and other professionals to ensure the young person's needs are met
Requirements
  • Experience working with young people with physical disabilities
  • Teaching or professional support worker background
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the young person and family
