About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Recovery Worker to join our team at The Social Interest Group. As a Recovery Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals who have experienced trauma and are in need of specialized care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans to promote recovery and well-being
  • Provide trauma-informed care and support to residents, including risk assessments and management
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Empower residents to take control of their lives and make informed decisions
  • Conduct regular reviews and assessments to ensure the effectiveness of support plans
Requirements
  • Experience working with individuals who have experienced trauma and complex needs
  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed care principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
