Recovery Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Recovery Worker to join our team at The Social Interest Group. As a Recovery Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals who have experienced trauma and are in need of person-centered care.
Key Responsibilities- Support residents to achieve their desired goals and outcomes through the development and implementation of individualized support plans.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop effective risk management plans to ensure the safety and well-being of residents.
- Collaborate with residents to identify and address their housing and social needs, providing practical assistance and support as needed.
- Develop and participate in the running of activities, projects, and events that promote resident engagement and empowerment.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure a seamless and effective service delivery, responding to the needs of residents and the service as a whole.
- Experience working with individuals who have experienced trauma and complex needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work flexibly and respond to the needs of the service and residents.
- Understanding of housing and social needs, with the ability to provide practical assistance and support.
- IT proficiency, with the ability to learn new software programs and systems.
