**Job Summary**

Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our team as a Hematology/Oncology Specialist. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide expert care to patients with cancer and blood disorders, working closely with board-certified oncologists and hematologists to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide consultation, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care to patients with hematology and oncology conditions
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and coordinate patient care plans, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal outcomes
  • Conduct thorough assessments, perform diagnostic procedures, and interpret results to inform treatment decisions
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including chemotherapy and other therapies, in collaboration with oncologists and hematologists
  • Provide education, counseling, and support to patients and their families throughout the treatment and survivorship process
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures

**Requirements:**

  • Active MA NP or PA license
  • BLS/ACLS certification
  • MA board authorization to practice as an APRN NRSG or PA
  • Valid prescriptive authority from MA DPH-DCP and Federal DEA
  • Current ONS Chemotherapy card
  • OCN certification within one year of employment
  • Oncology/Hematology experience preferred
