About The Role

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be working in our Out Of Hours (OOH) and Clinical Assessment service (CAS) in Devon. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality urgent care to patients, whilst also improving your career prospects.

Our Out Of Hours (OOH) and Clinical Assessment service (CAS) in Devon is a unique opportunity for an ambitious and committed Advanced Clinical / Nurse Practitioner (ANP) / (ACP) who can independently prescribe. You will be working autonomously within your sphere of competency, assessing patients, planning their care, administering treatment and discharging or referring them to other healthcare professionals via primary care centres and home visits.

You will also be using our electronic prescribing system, working closely with a friendly and close-knit multi-skilled team that includes GPs, registered nurses, UCPs, mental health and dental nurses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality urgent care to patients
  • Assess patients, plan their care, administer treatment and discharge or refer them to other healthcare professionals
  • Use our electronic prescribing system
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team
