We are seeking a talented Business Intelligence Analyst with a strong focus on Power BI to contribute to their dynamic IT team. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on business operations and strategic decision-making.

  1. Design and implement advanced reporting, analytics, and BI solutions using Power BI and Fabric.
  2. Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into the BI system.
  3. Develop interactive, user-friendly dashboards and reports in Power BI.
  4. Collaborate with business analysts to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  5. Build data models and schemas to support efficient querying and data retrieval.
  6. Perform complex data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  7. Work closely with business analysts, stakeholders, and team members to understand business needs and objectives.
  8. Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI functionalities and best practices.
  9. Optimise Power BI dashboards and reports for performance and scalability.
  10. Implement best practices for data management, data quality, and governance.
  11. Maintain comprehensive documentation for all BI solutions, including data sources, models, and reporting structures.
  12. Monitor and troubleshoot BI solutions to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Technical Skills:
  1. Proficient in Power BI, including DAX and Power Query.
  2. Experience with Fabric or similar data integration platforms.
  3. Strong SQL skills.
  4. Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
  5. Capable of analysing complex data sets and providing actionable insights.
  6. Ability to work collaboratively with business analysts and other team members.
  7. Experience in gathering and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
Professional Experience:
  1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar BI developer role.
  2. Proven track record of developing and deploying BI solutions in a business environment.
