Finance Officer Role Overview

TPP Recruitment is seeking a skilled Finance Officer to join our team. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for processing all income, maintaining records of standing orders and direct debits, and preparing sales invoices, post receipts, and allocating funds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process all income and maintain accurate records
  • Prepare sales invoices, post receipts, and allocate funds
  • Manage accounts payable functions, including processing a high volume of invoices
  • Produce reports as required by the finance team
  • Perform bank reconciliations and monthly/quarterly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Ensure donor information is provided to the fundraising and membership team

Requirements

  • Experience with CRM databases, ideally a cloud-based system
  • Experience with office administration
  • ATT qualification or working towards one
  • Excellent competency skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP
  • Working knowledge of public finance and/or charity accounting
