Join Our Team

We are seeking a Senior Subcontracts Specialist to join our team, working on a 12-month PAYE contract. The successful candidate will be based in one of our office locations, reporting directly to the Subcontracts Team Lead.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all sub-contract activities related to Offshore and Onshore Operations and Maintenance subcontracts.
  • Develop subcontract templates based on Petrofac's subcontract conditions of contract for use on O&M assets.
  • Support asset transitions, including strategy development and negotiation of back-to-back subcontracts.
  • Prepare, draft, issue, and manage Invitation to Tender (ITT) packages.
  • Negotiate contract terms with suppliers in line with Petrofac Best Practice.
  • Support operations managers, project managers, technical authorities, and contract sponsors in presenting the subcontractors' position to suppliers.
  • Lead and promote a performance culture, focusing on performance and value creation.
  • Assist in the resolution of contractual claims and disputes.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and functional engineers, key stakeholders, and suppliers. A strong understanding of subcontract management and procurement principles is essential, as is the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
