Senior Subcontracts Specialist

We are Seaway7, a leading company in the delivery of offshore wind projects. Our mission is to bring renewable energy to the world, making a positive impact on our planet and its future.

The Supply Chain Management Group at Seaway7 is responsible for all procurement and subcontracting activities across our Offshore Wind Projects. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Subcontracts Specialist to join our team in Aberdeen, UK.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Subcontracts and Procurement Management, Project Management, Commercial Management, Contracts / Claims, and Legal Counsel. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Performing commercial analyses and incorporating technical evaluations from various disciplines.
  • Initiating and participating in supplier performance evaluations and populating lessons learned reports.
  • Managing and negotiating all Variation Orders and amendments in collaboration with Contracts / Legal Discipline.

The successful candidate will have a degree in a technical, commercial, or legal discipline and experience working in a project management role, ideally within the energy industry. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential, with the ability to converse in English at a high level. Proficiency in other languages is a significant advantage.
