Job Title: Climate and Resilience Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Climate and Resilience Specialist to join our team at Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc.. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing project plans, timelines, and budgets for climate and sustainability initiatives within Marsh.

This role requires knowledge of commercial insurance as well as familiarity with C&S issues, project management methodologies, and excellent communication skills. Daily duties could include project planning and execution, climate and sustainability strategy, stakeholder engagement and communication as well as monitoring and reporting.

Salary Estimate: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets for climate and sustainability initiatives within Marsh
  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams and across MMC, working with different geographies and external partners to ensure project objectives are met
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery
  • Take ownership and drive project outcomes, provide updates, and communicate project milestones to stakeholders

Requirements:
  • Background/experience in the commercial insurance industry
  • Passion for ESG/Climate
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to drive initiatives that help our clients navigate C&S challenges. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making. You will be able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
