Job Title: Interim Head of Human Resources

This is a key role within the University of Leeds, providing HR leadership for an academic faculty hub and across the University through membership of the HR leadership team and the People and Culture Leadership Group.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced HR professional to lead our HR function, providing strategic support, professional HR expertise, and leadership to our academic faculties. The successful candidate will have significant HR experience gained in a large and complex organisation, operating at a senior level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide HR leadership for an academic faculty hub and across the University
  • Support the faculties of Engineering & Physical Sciences/Environment/Biological Sciences and Medicine and Health
  • Strengthen our service leadership and delivery, enhancing both institutional and individual performance
  • Directly support the delivery of the University's Research and Innovation, Student Education, and International strategic priorities
  • Implement our new service delivery model as part of the CPS programme
