Railway Project Manager

A leading Rail / Civils Contractor is seeking an experienced Railway Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of a Railway project with Civils elements in Wiltshire. As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the project are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering multiple concurrent Civil Engineering projects within a Rail environment. You will be responsible for managing a team of engineers, technicians, and other support staff to ensure that the project is completed efficiently and effectively. Your expertise in Network Rail suite of contracts and NEC3/4 will be highly valued in this role. In addition, you will need to possess excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills, as well as the ability to manage projects simultaneously without compromising on standards and quality. A strong working knowledge of CDM 2015 regulations, Network Rail standards, and relevant industry regulations is also essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Organize suppliers and sub-contractors to achieve efficient integration into the Plan
Plan day-to-day requirements of the Project works Package to produce effective use of all resources to minimize snagging
Carry out team briefing/debriefing of plan and task requirements, ensuring lines of command are clear
Ensure correct positioning/sequencing of plant and equipment for optimum use by on-site teams & personnel
Enact plan requirements, monitor site circumstances, conduct risk assessments, re-plan work to optimize output
Identify potential contract variations to Construction Manager and PM
Control and implement health, safety, quality and environmental requirements, supported by full briefing
Your Qualifications:
PTS
SMSTS / SSSTS
3-5 years worth of Site Management experience within the Rail or Civils industry
Salary:
£60,000 - £80,000 per annum depending on experience
