Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist electrical/mechanical craft workers, technicians, and operators.
  • Maintain housekeeping in power station buildings, plant, and equipment.
  • Perform routine manual tasks associated with craft activities, minor repairs, and workshop equipment use.
  • Manage hazardous waste, solvent storage, lakes, water courses, and legionella monitoring.
  • Observe plant and take readings/records.
  • Conduct main and auxiliary plant inspections.
  • Operate forklift trucks, MEWPS, cranes, hoists, and winches.
Requirements:
  • Practical knowledge of industrial safety.
  • Basic rigging, lifting, and scaffolding operations knowledge.

The salary for this position is £28,750 - £38,000 per annum.
