Snowdon Mountain Railway is looking to recruit a Maintenance/Handyperson (Seasonal).

Duties to include:
**Business**
- General repairs, painting of structure, fixtures and fittings at the Summit building, Hafod Eryri and Llanberis Station. To ensure that relevant departments, including all plant, fixtures and fittings, are maintained to the highest standard through both planned and reactive maintenance, adhering to Health, Safety and other legal requirements and supporting the needs of your department.
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance, both indoor and outdoor.
- Adherence of policies and procedures including Health and Safety
- Assist tradesmen and colleagues with maintenance and repairs when required

- Ensure excellent quality workmanship which upholds company standards
- Able to work on own initiative without receiving explicit direction
- Must be highly competent (and confident) in trade skills
- Be collaborative, with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Be qualified or have time served experience to complete necessary tasks
- Flexible, working to the needs of the business

- Work as part of the team daily to ensure that all areas of responsibility are covered, guiding colleagues when needed and escalates issues when required.
- Support the company induction, including completion of mandatory safe and secure training.

This is a Monday to Friday 8am-4pm position, which require some weekend availability from time to time.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 4 months

Pay: £11.40-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
