Regional Sales and Business Development Professional

A highly skilled Regional Sales and Business Development Professional is required to join Verto People, a leading mechanical engineering supplier with a strong presence in the UK. The successful candidate will focus on developing new business opportunities and managing key accounts in the South of Wales and parts of the South West for instrumentation, valve and control products.
Main Responsibilities- Develop new business opportunities and manage key accounts in the specified region via distribution channels and OEM customers.
- Maintain instrumentation and flow control product sales through demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation to achieve targets.
- Work remotely or field-based covering the specified area with regular visits to customer sites.
- Liaise with various engineering departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer, or similar within a mechanical engineering environment.
- Proven experience selling mechanical engineering products/systems related to instrumentation and flow control, including valves, actuators, pumps, pneumatics, hydraulics, sensors, mechanical seals, gaskets, control systems, pressure gauges, flow meters, and similar mechanical engineering products.
- Holding a full clean driving license is essential for this role.
- Ability to operate remotely with travel to customer sites across the South of Wales and parts of the South West UK.
