We are currently recruiting for an In-House Solicitor to join our client, a large organisation operating within the energy sector based in London. As part of our client's legal team, you will play a key role in advising on high-value tenders, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, consultancy and service contracts, goods, works and construction contracts.

You will advise on a range of legislation including Electricity Act, Data Protection Act, New Roads and Street Works Act, Town and Country Planning Act, Health and Safety legislation and TUPE. You will also be responsible for advising on intellectual property issues, drafting, negotiating and advising upon the interpretation of contracts.

This role requires a qualified solicitor with a 2:1 degree and at least 2 years PQE experience with a commercial and construction law background. Experience working both in-house and in private practice is preferred. You should be able to communicate clearly and authoritatively at senior level and manage complex negotiations opposite partners and senior associates from City law firms.

We estimate the salary for this role to be £350-£400 per day inside IR35. Please note that hybrid working is available, and our client is looking to pay a competitive daily rate.
