Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising on high-value tenders, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts, consultancy, and service agreements
  • Providing expertise on legislation, including Electricity Act, Data Protection Act, New Roads and Street Works Act, Town and Country Planning Act, Health and Safety legislation, and TUPE
  • Assisting with intellectual property issues and compliance matters
  • Drafting, negotiating, and advising on contract interpretation; leading negotiations with external partners and senior associates
  • Preparing and delivering training on current legal issues to the team and business colleagues
  • Awareness of competition law and ability to advise accordingly
  • Supervising external solicitors and assuming responsibility for less experienced staff
  • Advising on disputes and assisting with litigation matters
