Lead a Team of Dedicated Care Professionals:

We are seeking an experienced Deputy Manager to join our Area Camden team, supporting the Registered Manager in delivering exceptional care and support services to young people.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will supervise and lead a team of Key/Support Workers, implementing effective supervision processes to ensure high standards of care are maintained. They will assist the Registered Manager with the day-to-day management of the home, including quality of care, recruitment, communication, premises maintenance, and financial matters.

Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct needs assessments and develop personalized care plans for residents, involving relevant agencies and relatives as necessary.
  2. Provide exceptional personal care and attention to residents, adhering to individual care plans.
  3. Promote social and emotional well-being and development among residents.
  4. Ensure compliance with statutory and legal requirements, including Ofsted, COSHH, and Health & Social Care Act.
  5. Maintain accurate risk assessments and inform staff of any updates to health and safety legislation.
What You'll Need:
  • At least 2 years of residential childcare experience
  • Hold a Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent
  • Experience in child protection
  • Leadership and staff supervision skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to manage budgets and staff rotas
  • Project management skills and enthusiasm
  • Commitment to ongoing personal development
  • Proactive, solution-focused, and enthusiastic attitude
Salary and Benefits:
