About The Role

At RAC Motoring Services, we're seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our dedicated team. As a Breakdown Support Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in providing technical support to our customers and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide dynamic diagnostic support to increase efficiency and reduce vehicle downtime.
  • Help customers resolve simple issues over the phone, ensuring RAC patrols can attend to more customers each day.
  • Ensure customers receive the correct level of service, utilizing the right resource in the first instance.
  • Gather and share technical information across the team to keep RAC up-to-date with current technology.
  • Support colleagues with policy and technical queries.
Requirements
  • Minimum level 3 motor vehicle engineering qualification (Master technician qualification preferred).
  • Level 3 EV Qualification (IMI Accreditation).
  • High level of diagnosis and repair experience, including the use and understanding of workshop diagnostic equipment.
  • IT proficiency, including MS office.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
