A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a driven and results-oriented individual to assume the role of Assistant Front Office Manager at The Emory.

Main Responsibilities

As Assistant Front Office Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Front Office Manager in maintaining high standards of service and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk and reservations desk.

Main responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • To assist the Front Office Manager in representing management during night shifts and overseeing all staff on site.
  • To support seamless communication between departments and maintain high levels of efficiency.
  • To develop in-depth knowledge of Opera Cloud and adhere to LQA/Forbes/Maybourne's standards of work for the Front Office.
  • To assist in addressing guest complaints, implementing effective service recovery strategies, and accurately recording all issues in Knowcross.
  • To assist in resolving conflicts or disputes between night staff and reporting incidents to the relevant department head.
  • To assist in escorting guests to their rooms, explaining hotel facilities, and providing exceptional service in accordance with LQA/Forbes/Maybourne's standards.
  • To assist in verifying financial reports' accuracy and sending them daily, conducting night audits using Opera Cloud.
Salary Range: £32,000 - £42,000 per annum

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong ability to work effectively in a team, learn quickly, and take initiative in a fast-paced hotel environment.

We anticipate applicants with prior experience in front office roles and those who have worked in similar positions within luxury hotels.
