Oxford South Hotel Maintenance Associate

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Courtyard by Marriott Oxford South. As a key member of our hotel operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our facilities and providing exceptional guest experiences.
The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Ensuring energy management awareness among hotel staff through education and training.
- Contribution to guest satisfaction by addressing maintenance requests promptly.
- Compliance with health and safety regulations and fire practices, maintaining accurate records.
- Maintenance of physical assets through upgrading and project work.
- Implementation and management of preventative maintenance programs for mechanical and electrical systems.
- Service and supervision of equipment to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Job Requirements
- Performance monitoring to achieve high Guest Voice scores.
- Support with hiring, training, and supervision of team members.
- Health and safety policy adherence and implementation.
- Managerial duties during off-peak periods.
- Weekly payroll report preparation and rota management for optimal productivity.
- Comprehensive knowledge of health, hygiene, and fire life safety policies.
- Emergency response proficiency.
- Risk assessment and COSH updates.
