Job Title: Project Design Engineer

CRC Evans is seeking a highly skilled Project Design Engineer to join their team. The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per year.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting upcoming and live projects by using 3D and 2D CAD software to design and improve existing equipment. They will also produce technical documentation, such as reports and manuals, and provide day-to-day engineering support. This role involves assisting with project planning, addressing equipment requirements, and resolving technical challenges.

The ideal candidate will have an Engineering degree or equivalent, with practical experience working with electrical and mechanical machines. They should have a good understanding of manufacturing processes, material properties, and limitations. Proficiency in 3D CAD software, preferably Solidworks, is essential. Good communication skills are also required to work with clients and colleagues at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the design of new equipment and development of existing designs.
  • Modify and update existing designs to accommodate project changes.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including reports and manuals.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of design-related documentation.

Requirements:
  • Engineering degree or equivalent.
  • Practical experience working with electrical and mechanical machines.
  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes and material properties.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software, preferably Solidworks.
  • Good communication skills.
