Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Design Engineer to join our team at Crcevans. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting upcoming and live projects using 3D and 2D CAD for design improvement, technical documentation, and general day-to-day engineering support.

About the Role

This is a varied role that involves assisting with project planning, addressing equipment requirements, supporting equipment breakdowns, and using 3D/2D CAD to produce or update equipment designs.

Main Responsibilities

  • To take care of your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your actions at work.
  • To carry out assigned tasks and duties in a safe manner, in accordance with instructions, and comply with all Health, Safety & Environmental rules, policy, procedures, regulations, and codes of practice.
  • To ensure that you follow any instructions or health, safety & environmental training the Company provides and report any hazards, injuries, or ill health that present a serious and imminent risk.

Key Requirements

  • An engineering-based degree or equivalent HNC/HND 2:2 or above is essential.
  • Able to work independently and on own initiative.
  • Good communication skills, able to work with clients and colleagues at all levels and to generate clear and accurate reports detailing actions taken and recommended future actions.
  • An estimated salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum.
