About the Role

This exciting opportunity is based in Burnley, with a salary range of £40,000-£45,000 depending on skills and experience, offering 25 days holidays + Bank Holidays, company car or car allowance, pension scheme, and flexible working options.

Job Description:
J3A Recruitment is working with a rapidly growing engineering business, delivering innovative projects within the water industry.
  1. Support Project Managers on diverse projects, from initial design to delivery and handover.
  2. Guarantee timely and budget-friendly project completion.
  3. Evaluate quality standards achieved by suppliers and subcontractors during project execution.
  4. Manage and coordinate subcontractors on site.
  5. Regularly visit sites, meet with clients, inspect work, manage subcontractors, and ensure project progression.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Candidates should hold HNC or HND in Mechanical/Process Engineering or equivalent experience.
  2. Proficiency in CAD systems, mechanical drawings, and P&IDs is necessary.
  3. A valid driver's license is mandatory for site visits.
  4. Familiarity with fabrication practices, including welding and machine work, is essential.
  5. Candidates must be prepared to split time between site and office, with travel expected to customer sites around the UK.
  6. Possession of site tickets such as CSCS/EUSR cards is desirable (costs will be covered if not held).
