Job Description

This is a challenging and varied position that requires a high degree of autonomy and independence. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing new equipment and modifying existing designs to meet project specifications and engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop new equipment and modify existing designs using SolidWorks and AutoCAD software
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including reports, manuals, and specifications
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of design-related documentation
  • Provide detailed specifications for equipment, including power requirements, utility requirements, and dimensions
  • Support the resolution of project-related technical challenges using general engineering principles

Requirements

  • Engineering based Degree or equivalent HNC/HND 2:2 or above, essential
  • Practical experience working with electrical and mechanical machines, desirable
  • Working knowledge of 3D CAD (Modelling, Assembling, Drawings) preferably SolidWorks
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, essential
