About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Band 5 Registered Children's Nurse to join our dynamic Paediatrics team at The Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional nursing care to patients and their families, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

As a Paediatric Nurse, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing individualized care to patients, taking into account their unique needs and circumstances
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement effective care plans
  • Participating in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with best practices and advancements in paediatric care
  • Contributing to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of excellence and compassion

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current NMC Children's nursing registration
  • Minimum of 3 years post-registration experience in a nursing field, preferably in Outpatients or Emergency Department settings
  • Significant post-registration skills and experience in paediatric care
