Paediatric Endocrinology Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Paediatric Endocrinology Nurse to join our team at Pulse Nursing Perms. As a Paediatric Endocrinology Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to children with endocrine disorders, including Congenital Adrenal Hypoplasia, Hyperinsulinism, and Diabetes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized care to children with endocrine disorders, including developing and implementing care plans.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including haematology consultants, oncology consultants, physiotherapists, pharmacists, and healthcare assistants.
- Conduct blood and hormone tests, as well as other diagnostic procedures, to identify and manage endocrine disorders.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with families and caregivers to ensure seamless care and support.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest research and evidence-based practices in paediatric endocrinology.
- NMC Registration as a Paediatric Nurse.
- Relevant nursing qualification with 1-year post-graduation experience.
- Must be Oral and IV competent.
- Previous experience in paediatric endocrinology, metabolic medicine, or gastroenterology is advantageous but not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
