Paediatric Nurse

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Paediatric Nurse to join our team at King's College Hospital. As a Paediatric Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to children and young people, promoting family-centred care and ensuring that every patient receives the best possible treatment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide holistic care to children, young people, and their families, ensuring everyone has equal opportunities.
- Ensure family-centred care is promoted on our ward and children and young people are treated with dignity and respect.
- Provide high-quality clinical care to children and young people.
- Demonstrate honesty and learn from errors to support the creation of a no-blame culture where people feel able to share and learn from experiences together.
- Participate in the teaching and supervision of junior staff and student nurses.
- Be a safe and effective practitioner, able to provide patients and families with a high standard of nursing care.
Requirements:
- Paediatric Registered Nurse with Active NMC Registration
- Acute experience within a paediatric setting
- Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal)
- Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members
