Job Description

Positive Employment is seeking a highly skilled HR Advisor to join our team. As an HR Advisor, you will play a critical role in providing expert advice and guidance to our clients, a Housing Association based in Basingstoke.

The successful candidate will report to the Employee Relations Specialist and be responsible for providing a comprehensive service of advice and guidance to all areas of the business. This will enable managers to effectively deal with people matters, ensuring compliance with legislation, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Employee Relations Support: Provide advice, guidance, and support to line managers on a range of standard and non-standard Employee Relations issues, including absence trends, attrition, development, engagement, and attraction strategies.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with legislation, policies, and procedures, and that they are effectively and consistently applied across the organization.
  • Management Information: Proactively use management information to identify employee relations issues and develop strategies to address them.
  • Case Management: Ensure all relevant case paperwork is managed in accordance with Data Protection legislation and keep all relevant stakeholders informed of case activity and progress.
  • Coaching and Development: Nurture a coaching style to enable managers to attend dismissal, appeal, and grievance meetings with the necessary skills and capabilities.
  • Organizational Change: Support HR Business Partners with organizational change in preparation for any restructuring and TUPE activity, and any associated administration.
  • People-Focused Initiatives: Support the delivery of people-focused organizational initiatives, including harmonization, alignment of systems, policies, and practices, and new ways of working.
  • Training and Development: Identify employee relations training requirements across departments, make recommendations, and develop learning activities to improve management employee relations capability.

Working Hours: 09:00 am - 17:00 pm, Monday - Friday

Pay: £23.81 per hour

Please note: This role is within the scope of IR35.
