About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR professional to join our team as an HR Generalist. As a key member of our people and culture team, you will play a critical role in supporting our operational teams across two sites in Basingstoke and Clapham.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and support to managers and employees on all employee relations matters, including disciplinary procedures, grievances, performance management, and absence management.
  • Develop and maintain company policies and procedures to ensure they remain relevant and effective.
  • Support performance management, including objective setting and the performance review process.
  • Work with the HR Business Partner to ensure the seamless execution of HR and payroll operations, maintaining accurate HR systems, issuing contracts, and benefits administration.
  • Guide and support managers with the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, shortlisting, and coordinating interviews.
  • Prepare reports and analytics related to HR metrics.
  • Play a key role in the implementation of a new HR and payroll system, ensuring it meets business needs and is implemented smoothly.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, including Investors In People (IIP) accreditation, ensuring alignment with the company's values and culture.
About You
  • Experience within a generalist HR role with a proven track record of advising managers on all things people and policies.
  • Experience of working on a HR and payroll system change is an advantage.
  • Possesses a good understanding of current employment law and HR best practice.
  • Technically skilled with HR and payroll systems and Microsoft tools.
  • Able to manage competing priorities and a number of projects simultaneously.
