About the Opportunity

Ribbons & Reeves is actively seeking a Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to join one of our partner schools in Harrow. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and caring individual to make a real difference in the lives of students with diverse learning needs.

The successful candidate will have a passion for supporting students with SEND, working collaboratively with the SENCO, teachers, and other professionals to deliver high-quality support and assistance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support and assistance to students with SEND, promoting their academic and social development.
  • Collaborate with the SENCO and other professionals to develop and implement Individualised Learning Plans.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, demonstrating patience, empathy, and understanding.
  • Use a range of strategies to engage students with different learning styles and abilities.
  • Contribute to the monitoring and tracking of student progress, providing regular feedback to the teaching team.

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent experience in Special Educational Needs or related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with students of varying ages and abilities.
  • Able to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Passion for supporting students with SEND.

Salary and Benefits: £27,000 - £29,000 per annum (dependent on experience), plus a comprehensive benefits package including training opportunities and career progression.
