About the Role:

This exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Step Teachers, providing crucial support to students with Special Educational Needs in the Harrow area. As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with experienced educators to create inclusive and engaging learning environments that cater to students' diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to planning and delivering adaptive lesson plans that meet the needs of students with SEND.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance students' language and communication skills.
  • Provide emotional support and encouragement to help students manage their emotions and develop positive relationships.
  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers through regular updates on student progress.

Requirements:
  • Qualifications in teaching assistance (Level 2/3) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills are required for this role.

The estimated salary for this position is £29,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
