A leading manufacturer of high-precision components sold into the global automotive industry is seeking a skilled NPI Quality Assurance Specialist to join their Technical Team at ASC Connections Ltd.

The company is experiencing a period of growth, and they are looking to bolster their engineering team with a professional who can drive quality assurance and customer satisfaction.

The main focus for this role is to ensure the highest quality standards are met, and customer satisfaction is achieved through effective quality assurance and process improvement.

NPI Quality Assurance Specialist responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and supporting improvements projects to increase quality output and reduce non-value-added activities.
  • Communicating and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders on status and quality reports.
  • Implementing best practice solutions to improve quality and reduce costs.
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining a robust right-first-time (RFT) methodology.
  • Supporting the procurement of new tools for projects and production.
  • Liaising with the sales department to expand customer markets and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and making recommendations on projects to improve performance.
  • Driving a continuous improvement mentality and culture within the organization.

The ideal candidate will have experience with quality documentation such as PPAP, APQP, DFMEA, and PFMEA. Any experience of project management in NPI or prototype manufacturing would be beneficial.
