A leading manufacturer of high-precision components sold into the global automotive industry is seeking a skilled NPI Engineer to join their Technical Team at ASC Connections Ltd.

This business is experiencing a period of growth, and they are looking to bolster their engineering team with a professional who can focus on Quality Assurance and Customer Satisfaction.

The main responsibilities of the NPI Engineer role include:

  • Coordinating and supporting improvement projects to increase Quality output and efficiency
  • Communicating and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders on status and Quality reports
  • Implementing best practice solutions and reducing Non-Value Added (NVA) activities
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining a Right First Time (RFT) methodology
  • Supporting the procurement of new tools for projects and production
  • Liaising with the sales department to expand customer markets and improve customer relationships
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and making recommendations on projects to improve performance
  • Driving a continuous improvement mentality and culture within the organization

The ideal candidate will have experience with Quality documentation such as PPAP, APQP, DFMEA, and PFMEA. Any experience of project management in NPI or Prototype manufacturing would be beneficial.
