Midwife Healthcare Specialist

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic midwife to join our Community Midwifery team at University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust. As a Band 6 Community Midwife, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, woman-centered maternity care in the community setting.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will have a strong passion for delivering excellent patient care and a commitment to ongoing professional development. You will work closely with other members of the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to women throughout their pregnancy continuum.
Key Responsibilities- To provide high-quality, woman-centered maternity care in the community setting
- To work autonomously within the multi-disciplinary team, making appropriate clinical decisions and prioritizing care needs
- To educate and support women and their families throughout their pregnancy journey
- To collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal outcomes
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Registered Midwife qualification
- Evidence of ongoing professional development
- Current driving license
In addition, desirable skills and qualifications include:
- First-level degree in a relevant field
The salary for this position is approximately £38,000 - £46,000 per annum, depending on experience. The benefits package includes access to training and development opportunities, a pension scheme, and generous annual leave entitlement.
