Elysium Healthcare is a forward-thinking healthcare organization that is committed to providing high-quality services to individuals with complex mental health needs. We are currently seeking a dedicated Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Kendal and Workington.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and treating complex mental health needs in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for service users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of service users to identify their mental health needs.
- Design and deliver specialist psychological treatments to support the care plans of service users.
- Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for service users.
- Participate in the assessment of referrals and provide initial assessments for service users referred to the service.
- Foster a supportive learning environment by facilitating staff reflective practice sessions and designing and delivering training.
Requirements:
- BPS recognised psychology degrees
- UK HCPC registration
- Chartered Psychologist status and appropriate postgraduate qualifications
- Approved supervisor within the guidelines of the BPS and relevant division
- Understanding of evidence-based psychological practice
- Experience of applying psychological knowledge to a Learning Disabilities and Autism setting
- Experienced working with clients with cognitive deficits
- Previous experience of conducting research and project working
Annual Salary: £56,200 - £66,500
