The successful candidate will be working with a lady who has Spinal Muscular Atrophy and Scoliosis, requiring support with daily activities, including enteral feeding, respiratory support, and companionship. A Full UK Driving Licence is essential for this role, as you will be required to drive her vehicle to attend events and appointments.
Key Responsibilities- Provide person-centred care and support to our clients, promoting their independence and well-being
- Assist with daily activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
- Support our clients with their mobility and mobility aids, including wheelchair use
- Administer medication and perform other medical tasks as required
- Communicate effectively with our clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals
- Previous experience in a care or support role, preferably with complex care needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and trustworthy, with a strong commitment to confidentiality
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle
- Competitive rates of pay, up to £17.00 per hour
