Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Manager to join a rapidly growing Top 50 firm.

The successful candidate will be a qualified ACA or ACCA professional with a strong background in accounting and business development, gained at Manager level within a reputable accountancy practice.

Reporting to Partner and Director level, this role involves supervising junior team members and providing both statutory and management accounting services to a diverse client portfolio.

Awareness of tax is also essential, although a dedicated Tax team handles complex and advisory tax issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a portfolio of clients to ensure compliance for tax and accounting purposes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, working closely with designated Directors.
  • Supervise team members, manage workflow, and promote a collaborative office environment.
  • Monitor and manage the financial performance of assigned portfolios, including fee levels, recoveries, WIP, and debtor positions.
  • Collaborate with other departments within the group.
  • Review compliance work, including year-end statutory accounts, VAT returns, management accounts, and personal/company tax returns.
  • Provide guidance to clients on queries and advise them when necessary.
  • Assist Directors with ad hoc projects.
  • Foster professional relationships and networks.
