Job Title: MD Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MD Assistant to join our team at our St Paul's / Farringdon based office in the City of London.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide high-level support to our Managing Director and wider team in EMEA, including Analysts, Associates, VPs, and MDs. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Managing Director with diary and calendar management, meeting coordination, and travel arrangement booking
  • Managing high volumes of phone calls and emails, relaying information in a timely and accurate manner
  • Coordinating room bookings for internal and external meetings and video conferences
  • Expense management and preparation
  • Taking on ad hoc tasks while maintaining workflow
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in financial services, with 2 years' direct experience as a Personal Assistant or Team Assistant, preferably within Banking
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Professional, positive, can-do attitude to work
  • Strong communication and excellent telephone manner
  • Ability to be proactive, use initiative, and multitask, as well as prioritize
  • Team player with experience of working in a large team, strong interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive and confidential information
