Dental Lab Coordinator

Choi's Dental Studio is looking for a motivated and organized Dental Lab Coordinator to manage the day-to-day operations of our dental lab. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all laboratory tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

About the Role
  • We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual who can demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment and be able to multitask effectively.

In this position, you will be responsible for preparing plaster models and moulds, casting gold or metal alloys, maintaining supplies, moulding wax, finishing metal frameworks, packing plastic material, making orthodontic bands, and polishing and buffing dentures.

A competitive salary of $42,000 - $58,000 per year, depending on experience, is being offered for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare plaster models and moulds
  • Cast gold or metal alloys for bridges and denture bases
  • Maintain and order supplies
  • Mould wax over dentures set-up
  • Finish metal framework of dentures
  • Prepare wax bite-blocks and impression trays
  • Pack plastic material in moulds to form full or partial dentures
  • Make orthodontic bands from metal and alloys
  • Polish and buff dentures
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in a dental laboratory setting.

This is a full-time position, working 35-40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 8am-5pm.

You must be willing to work in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.
