Principal Research Technician

We are recruiting a Principal Research Technician to join our team at the Department of Engineering's Aerodynamics and Acoustics Laboratories. As a key member of the laboratory team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to research staff and academics, and maintaining and operating equipment/apparatus.
Key Responsibilities
- Support experiments conducted by researchers and academics
- Maintain and operate research and/or teaching equipment/apparatus
- Provide technical advice and guidance to students and research staff
Requirements
- Degree level education/level 6 vocational qualification or equivalent practical experience
- Advanced knowledge of lab technician work involving critical understanding of relevant theory/principles
- Practical experience of specialised laboratory activity and equipment
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Good IT skills and high degree of precision and accuracy
Estimate Salary and Benefits
