Electronics Laboratory Technician

This is an exciting opportunity to work as an experienced Lab Technician in a mechanical environment with a background in engineering. The One Group, based in Chesterford, is transforming energy storage systems.
As an Electronics Laboratory Technician, you will be working on various tasks such as preparation of stock materials, construction of electrochemical cells, testing of electrochemical cells, and supporting development projects. You will also ensure high standards of health & safety and check, calibrate, and maintain lab equipment.
- **Key Responsibilities:**
- Preparation of stock materials (Current collectors, fabrics), carry out routine mechanical practices to defined operating standards.
- Construction of electrochemical cells (Mechanical assembly & light machining)
- Testing of electrochemical cells
- Support development projects
- Ensure high standards of health & safety.
- Check, calibrate and maintain lab equipment
- Monitor lab stocks alongside the tech team
We offer a competitive salary of £30,000 per annum, which aligns with your experience.
