We are seeking a highly organized and collaborative Research Laboratory Floor Technician to join our Scientific Facilities team at the University of Cambridge. This is a full-time role with an estimated salary of £30,000-£40,000 per annum.

Job Description:
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of laboratory areas and equipment.
  • Liaise with research groups to coordinate servicing that impacts their work.
  • Contribute to health and safety management by providing training, writing risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures.

Requirements:

  • Qualified to degree level or equivalent in a science subject.
  • Previous experience in a research laboratory environment and using various lab equipment is essential.
