Dental Lab Administrator

At Choi's Dental Studio, we're seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dental Lab Administrator to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role
  • We are looking for a dedicated professional with experience in dental laboratory procedures to fill this critical role.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills.

In this position, you will be responsible for preparing plaster models and moulds, casting gold or metal alloys, maintaining supplies, moulding wax, finishing metal frameworks, packing plastic material, making orthodontic bands, and polishing and buffing dentures.

A competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience, is being offered for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare plaster models and moulds
  • Cast gold or metal alloys for bridges and denture bases
  • Maintain and order supplies
  • Mould wax over dentures set-up
  • Finish metal framework of dentures
  • Prepare wax bite-blocks and impression trays
  • Pack plastic material in moulds to form full or partial dentures
  • Make orthodontic bands from metal and alloys
  • Polish and buff dentures
Requirements
  • Fresh graduates welcome
  • No prior experience required, but relevant coursework in a related field would be an asset.

This is a full-time position, working 35-40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 8am-5pm.

You must be willing to work in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.
